Nature Favors is a small family owned business, firmly rooted in our Christian faith.  We are a Veteran owned, Texas-based company, creating sustainable flower, herb, and tree seed gifts, designed as re-gifts to nature since 2000.  We are incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to make unique garden gifts for others to love, nurture, and grow!  We thank God every day for the opportunity He has given us to bring smiles to faces throughout the United States for over the past 24 years.  We are passionate about serving our Lord and our customers, rather than chasing profits.  Our mission is to bring joy to others through the gifts we create, while giving God the Glory for it all!

 

How it all began:​

The idea of the first plantable gift came to Texas butterfly farmer, Shari Gray, during a conversation with a bride in 2000.  The couple were planning to release butterflies at their wedding, and they wanted each guests to receive a butterfly themed gift to take home and enjoy as a reminder of their special day.   Owner, Shari Gray, thought to herself, why not make a special gift for the butterflies to enjoy as well?  And so she did!   She started by harvesting seeds from the butterfly plants on the farm, carefully selecting flowers seeds that would be the most beneficial for butterflies.  Next, she began experimenting with making paper that she infused with seeds to create the first plantable butterfly release box.   Little did she know then, the idea of that one little gift box would eventually sprout into a complete line of unique,

sustainable, nature inspired products, known today as "Nature Favors".

The experience and knowledge Shari would gain as a butterfly farmer would not only pave the road to Nature Favors, but it also provided her with an opportunity to share her knowledge about butterflies with others.  Shari presented live butterfly educational programs at schools and garden clubs, educating others on the life cycle of the butterfly, teaching them how to create natural butterfly habitats in their own back yards and throughout the community.  Shari has devoted her time in many ways throughout the years, both locally and internationally, serving as a board member for several organizations, including The International Butterfly Breeders Association.

Today:

A lot has changed, but change can be a good thing!  Our family has grown over the years and we are blessed to have a team of dedicated family members  who compliment each other in such a unique way.  We have gift makers, photographers, graphic designers, web designers, marketing specialists, new product designers, and shipping experts, all in one family, growing the business together.
