Wildflower Plantable Shapes

An assortment of annual and perennial wildflower seeds are inside the seed paper shape. To begin, soak the shape overnight in water. Next, add water to the soil disc, which will cause it to expand and fill the inside of the flower pot. Place the shape on top of the soil and move it to a warm, sunny location. Add water daily, taking care to keep the flower and soil moist. Within 2 weeks you should see sprouts shooting up from within the flower shape. If after a couple of weeks you do not see any sprouts, simply move the contents of the flower pot to your outdoor garden so that it can overwinter and bring wildflowers in the spring.

Evergreen Tree Plantable Shapes

The seeds are inside the tree shape! Start by soaking the tree in water for 12 hours. Next add water to the soil pellet, causing it to expand and

fill the inside of the pot, then place the tree on top and cover lightly with 1/8” of soil. Place the pot in a warm, sunny location. Add a small amount of water daily, taking care to keep the soil moist. In 1-4 weeks, depending on the temperature and the time of year, you should see sprouts shooting up from within the tree shape. If after this time you do not see any sprouts, this means the seeds will need to go through an overwintering process in which case you simply plant the contents of the pot in the ground, covering lightly with 1/8” of soil. Warm temperatures, combined with rain in the spring will encourage the seeds to sprout.

Herbs Plantable Shapes

Parsley and Chive seeds are inside the plantable shape. To begin, soak the seed paper shape overnight in a shallow dish of water. Next, add water to the soil pellet, which will cause it to expand and fill the inside of the flower pot. Place the seed paper shape on top of the pellet and cover it with 1/8” of the soil. Keep your grow kit in a warm, sunny location and add a small amount of water daily, taking care to keep it moist to the touch but not overly saturated. Once the seedlings reach 3-4” tall, they will need to be moved to a larger container or outdoor garden so that they have plenty of room to grow. Herbs grown indoors can be moved outside once temperatures are above freezing.
