Gift Box Grow Kit Planting Instructions
Flower Gift Box Grow Kits
An assortment of annual and perennial flower seeds are inside the seed paper shape. To begin, place the plantable shape on top of the soil pellet, included with your grow kit. Next, soak them together in a shallow dish of warm water for 30 minutes. Return the soil and the plantable shape to the flower pot. Place the flower pot in a warm, sunny location. Add water daily, taking care to keep the flower and soil moist. Look for sprouts to begin shooting up from within the handmade plantable shape. The time it takes will depend on the temperature, but they have been known to bloom in as little as 40 days! Seedlings will need to be moved to a larger pot or outdoor garden once they reach 3-4" tall.
What flowers will grow?
The following seeds can be found inside the plantable shape.
Zinnia,
Pinks, Sweet William
Poppy
Snapdragon

Tree Gift Box Grow Kits
The seeds are inside the tree shape! Start by soaking the tree in water for 12 hours. Next add water to the soil pellet, causing it to expand and
fill the inside of the pot, then place the tree on top and cover lightly with 1/8” of soil. Place the pot in a warm, sunny location. Add a small amount of water daily, taking care to keep the soil moist. In 1-4 weeks, depending on the temperature and the time of year, you should see sprouts shooting up from within the tree shape. If after this time you do not see any sprouts, this means the seeds will need to go through an overwintering process in which case you simply plant the contents of the pot in the ground, covering lightly with 1/8” of soil. Warm temperatures, combined with rain in the spring will encourage the seeds to sprout.

Parsley and Chive seeds are inside the plantable shape. To begin, soak the seed paper shape overnight in a shallow dish of water. Next, add water to the soil pellet, which will cause it to expand and fill the inside of the flower pot. Place the seed paper shape on top of the pellet and cover it with 1/8” of the soil. Keep your grow kit in a warm, sunny location and add a small amount of water daily, taking care to keep it moist to the touch but not overly saturated. Texas Bluebonnet Grow Kits
Handmade in Texas with Texas Bluebonnet Seeds and all of the nutrients they need to grow, including real Texas soil!
To Start Your Seeds Indoors:
Place the flower pot with the Texas shape in a warm and sunny location. Add water daily, taking care to keep the Texas shape moist, but not saturated.
To Start Your Seeds Outside:
Place the Texas shape in a sunny location with well drained soil. There is no need in covering it since the seeds are already incased in soil. If rainfall is low, an occasional watering will help ensure success.
Although bluebonnet require some moisture to sprout and grow, they do not like saturated soil.
Our grow kits are designed as seed starters and provide all of the nutrients needed for small seedlings to grow and begin establishing their roots. The seedling will need to be moved to a larger pot or transplanted outside once they reach 3-4" tall. Bluebonnets prefer a sunny location with well drained soil.
Bluebonnets go from seed to flower to seed in one year. Once established, your bluebonnets should reseed and reappear each year.
